The New Rochelle Huguenots (New Rochelle, NY) basketball toppled the visiting Mount Vernon Knights (Mount Vernon, NY), 65-52 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Huguenots now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Rye for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18.

With the loss, Mount Vernon falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 1 Conference 1C bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Mamaroneck won 58-56 in their recent league bout against Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY)
