January 15, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) backers exited the stadium happy Wednesday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI), 12-0 in a non-league game.
With the win, University Liggett moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Knights host L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 8-3. L'Anse Creuse North lost 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI)
The Monarchs now possess a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Foley for a Catholic game on Friday, January 17. Cabrini will clash with a Ventures squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH). The Ventures record now stands at 2-16.
