The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the visiting Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), witnessed Taft School's ice hockey team nip Westminster School by a final score of 2-1.

The Big Red (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wild Boars come into the challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Choate Rosemary Hall School was nipped by Canterbury School (New Milford, CT), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Martlets battle the Salisbury School Crimson Knights (Salisbury, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18.
