California High School Basketball - Inglewood overwhelms Hawthorne
January 15, 2025: Inglewood, CA 90301 The Inglewood Sentinels basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Hawthorne Cougars to 25 in the Sentinels league triumph on Wednesday.
The Sentinels now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Culver City for a game on Friday, January 17. Inglewood will confront a Centaurs team coming off a 71-32 league win over Lawndale (Lawndale, CA). The Centaurs record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, Hawthorne falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host WISH Academy (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Owls in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Owls go into the game with a record of 1-2. WISH Academy won 36-27 in their recent non-league game against Vistamar (El Segundo, CA)
