Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Conestoga tops Downingtown West
January 16, 2022: Berwyn, PA 19312 Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA), 61-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Conestoga upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA) to play the Aces in a Central bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Aces come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Lower Merion won 61-57 in their recent non-league bout against Reading (Reading, PA)
Next up, the Whippets play the Henderson Warriors (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont - National bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Downingtown West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 60-58 league loss to Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA).
