Flint Southwestern Academy Knights (Flint, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Flint Southwestern Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Bendle (Burton, MI) to play the Tigers in a Genesee Area - Red bout on Thursday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Bendle won 82-48 in their recent league bout against Atherton (Burton, MI)

Next up, the Raiders play the Algonac Muskrats (Algonac, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Thursday, January 19. Almont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Muskrats come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 73-31 league loss to Yale (Yale, MI).
