New Jersey High School Basketball - McNair Academic fells Johnson
January 16, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07302 McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), 52-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McNair Academic upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ) to clash with the Redwings in a Hudson County - National bout on Thursday, January 19. The Redwings go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Hoboken lost 49-34 in their recent non-league bout against Memorial (West New York, NJ)
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Roselle Park Panthers (Roselle Park, NJ) in a Mountain Valley - Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 55-40 non-league loss to Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ).
