Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa winner over Nestucca
January 16, 2023: Astoria, OR 97103 The Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) basketball felled the visiting Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR), 64-53 in Monday's league test.
The Loggers (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Gaston (Gaston, OR). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Northwest test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Gaston was beaten by Vernonia (Vernonia, OR), 91-37, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Portland Christian for a 2A Northwest test on Friday, January 20. Nestucca will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 56-41 league win over Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR). The Royals record now stands at 8-6.
