Delaware High School Basketball - Lake Forest edges North Caroline
January 16, 2023: Felton, DE 19943 The Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) basketball nipped the visiting North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD), 57-54 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Seahawks go into the Henlopen - Southern test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Sussex Academy was tipped by First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE), 44-15, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Queen Anne's County for a Bayside - North test on Tuesday, January 17. North Caroline will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 79-51 league win over Kent Island (Stevensville, MD). The Lions record now stands at 10-1.
