Washington High School Basketball - Lakeside topples Overlake
January 16, 2023: Seattle, WA 98125 In Monday's non-league outing, the Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) basketball squad beat the visiting Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), by a margin of 63-54.
The Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Cleveland (Seattle, WA). The Eagles go into the 3A Metro outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Cleveland was beaten by Renton (Renton, WA), 81-43, in a non-league outing.
The Owls now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to University Prep for a 1A Emerald Sound outing on Wednesday, January 18. Overlake will clash with a Pumas squad coming off a 70-38 league loss to Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Pumas record now stands at 5-4.
