New York High School Basketball - Manhasset crushes St. Mary's
January 16, 2023: Manhasset, NY 11030 Manhasset Indians (Manhasset, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Mary's Gaels (Manhasset, NY), 83-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Manhasset upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Glen Cove (Glen Cove, NY) to clash with the Big Red in a Section 8 A-3 bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Big Red go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Glen Cove lost 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY)
Next up, the Gaels clash with the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk bout, on Tuesday, January 17. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Friars go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 74-44 non-league win over Woodmere Academy (Woodmere, NY).
