Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northern York edges Palmyra
January 16, 2023: Dillsburg, PA 17019 The Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA), 43-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Polar Bears (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Waynesboro got by West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA), 54-20, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mifflin County for a Mid-Penn - Keystone test on Wednesday, January 18. Palmyra will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-49 league loss to Red Land (Lewisberry, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-11.
