California High School Basketball - Stockton Christian can't hold off Quarry Lane
January 16, 2023: Dublin, CA 94568 The Quarry Lane Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Stockton Christian Eagles to 51 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Tamalpais for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Quarry Lane will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 64-53 league loss to Averroes (Fremont, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-14.
The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Vanguard College Prep (Modesto, CA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Vanguard College Prep edged John Adams Academy (El Dorado Hills, CA), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
