Georgia High School Basketball - Douglas County nudges Eagle's Landing
January 16, 2023: McDonough, GA 30253 Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Douglas County upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Paulding County (Dallas, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a AAAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Paulding County won 61-34 in their recent league bout against Newnan (Newnan, GA)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 20. Eagle's Landing will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 60-50 league loss to Union Grove (McDonough, GA).

Third quarter we digressed getting out scored 18-13
