North Carolina High School Basketball - Forsyth Country Day can't hold off East Forsyth
January 16, 2023: Lewisville, NC 27023 The East Forsyth Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Forsyth Country Day Furies to 63 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reagan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. East Forsyth will battle a Raiders team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
The Furies (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars come into the contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Calvary Day School edged Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
