With the victory, Axtell improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE) to confront the Falcons in a D1 District 8 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Wilcox-Hildreth lost 57-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) in a D1 District 9 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Arapahoe will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 77-61 non-league loss to Holdrege (Holdrege, NE).
