January 16, 2024: Temperance, MI 48182 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) and the visiting Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), saw Bedford's basketball squad hold off Ford by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Bedford improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Kicking Mules host Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a record of 9-1.
Next up, the Trojans play the Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I challenge, on Friday, January 19. Ford will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Jungaleers come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 58-47 non-league win over Eastern (Lansing, MI).
