Michigan High School Basketball - Chelsea nips Saline
January 16, 2024: Chelsea, MI 48118 Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), 59-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chelsea upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Adrian (Adrian, MI) to play the Maples in a Southeastern - White bout on Friday, January 19. The Maples go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Adrian won 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Adrian, MI)
Next up, the Hornets play the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red bout, on Friday, January 19. Saline will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 61-55 league win over Huron (Ann Arbor, MI).
