The Cholla Chargers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks to 65 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nogales for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Cholla will battle a Apaches team coming off a 68-60 league loss to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Apaches record now stands at 8-7.

The Nighthawks (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the 5A Southern contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Mountain View prevailed over Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ), 64-56, in a league contest.
