Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) and the visiting NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC), saw Draughn's basketball squad knock off NCSSM: Morganton by a count of 67-54.

With the victory, Draughn upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a 1A/2A Western Highlands challenge on Monday, January 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Mountain Heritage won 66-55 in their recent league challenge against Madison (Marshall, NC)
