Michigan High School Basketball - Jonesville holds off East Jackson
January 16, 2024: Jackson, MI 49202 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jonesville Comets (Jonesville, MI) and the host East Jackson Trojans (Jackson, MI), saw Jonesville's basketball squad hold off East Jackson by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Jonesville improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Homer (Homer, MI) to confront the Trojans in a Cascades challenge on Friday, January 19. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Homer won 58-50 in their recent league challenge against Addison (Addison, MI)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) in a Cascades challenge, on Friday, January 19. East Jackson will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 78-54 league win over Homer (Homer, MI).
