Michigan High School Basketball - Milan overwhelms Garden City
January 16, 2024: Milan, MI 48160 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI) and the visiting Garden City Cougars (Garden City, MI), saw Milan's basketball squad wallop Garden City by a tally of 78-40.
With the victory, Milan improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Big Reds host Riverview (Riverview, MI) to confront the Pirates in a Huron challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) in a Western Wayne challenge, on Friday, January 19. Garden City will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 68-43 league loss to Melvindale (Melvindale, MI).
