New York High School Basketball - Geneva knocked off by Wayne
January 16, 2024: Geneva, NY 14456 The Wayne Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Geneva Panthers to 28 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newark for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Wednesday, January 24.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newark (Newark, NY). The Reds enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Newark ran past Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY), 65-62, in a league contest.
