January 16, 2024: Tallmadge, OH 44278 The Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) basketball nipped the host Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH), 69-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Polar Bears (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Hoover (North Canton, OH). The Vikings go into the Federal test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Hoover got by Barberton (Barberton, OH), 55-47, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora for a Suburban - American test on Thursday, January 18. Tallmadge will encounter a Greenmen squad coming off a 64-48 non-league win over Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Greenmen record now stands at 8-4.
