South Carolina High School Basketball - King's Academy overwhelms Thomas Sumter Academy
January 16, 2024: Dalzell, SC 29040 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC) and the host Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC), saw King's Academy's basketball squad wallop Thomas Sumter Academy by a tally of 51-29.
With the victory, King's Academy improves its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Conway Christian (Conway, SC) to confront the Eagles in a SCISA AA Region III challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Conway Christian lost 65-45 in their recent league challenge against Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC)
Next up, the Generals confront the Clarendon Hall Saints (Summerton, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Thomas Sumter Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 54-49 non-league loss to Jefferson Davis Academy (Blackville, SC).
