North Carolina High School Basketball - Marvin Ridge ripped by Palisades

The Palisades Pumas basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks to 43 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pumas now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardrey Kell for a 4A South Meck contest on Friday, January 19. Palisades will battle a Knights team coming off a 54-38 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.

The Mavericks (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans enter the 4A Southern Carolina contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Sun Valley was routed by Butler (Matthews, NC), 71-53, in a non-league contest.
