The Plainview Pirates basketball team (Plainview, NE), was toppled 51-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting West Holt Huskies (Atkinson, NE)

The Huskies now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd County for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. West Holt will confront a Spartans team coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 5-7.
