Colorado High School Basketball - Regis Jesuit nips Ponderosa
January 16, 2024: Parker, CO 80134 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Regis Jesuit Raiders (Aurora, CO) and the host Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), saw Regis Jesuit's basketball squad hold off Ponderosa by a count of 59-53.
With the victory, Regis Jesuit upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO) to play the Jaguars in a 6A/5A Continental challenge on Friday, January 19. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Rock Canyon won 79-74 in their recent league challenge against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a 6A/5A Continental challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Ponderosa will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 68-62 league loss to Chaparral (Parker, CO).
