Wisconsin High School Basketball - Antigo tops Ashland
January 16, 2024: Antigo, WI 54409 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) and the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), saw Antigo's basketball squad knock off Ashland by a tally of 39-31.
With the victory, Antigo improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Red Robins host Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI) to play the Hodags in a Great Northern challenge on Friday, January 19. The Hodags come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Oredockers play the Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI) in a Heart O'North challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Ashland will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 55-40 non-league win over Bloomer (Bloomer, WI).
