South Dakota High School Basketball - McCook Central/Montrose crushes Baltic

McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD), 55-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, McCook Central/Montrose upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Fighting Cougars host Flandreau (Flandreau, SD) to play the Fliers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Fliers come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Flandreau won 67-14 in their recent league bout against Deuel (Clear Lake, SD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Baltic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Avon (Avon, SD).
