January 16, 2024: Hartford, SD 57033

West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD), 65-51 in a league bout.

With the win, West Central upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Trojans host Lennox (Lennox, SD) to play the Orioles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Orioles go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Lennox won 78-23 in their recent league bout against Parker (Parker, SD)

Next up, the Quarriers play the Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Dell Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Cossacks go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SD).
