McLean Tigers (McLean, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Follett Panthers (Follett, TX), 36-24 in a league bout.

With the win, McLean upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Tigers host Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 1 bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Fort Elliott lost 38-35 in their recent league bout against Follett (Follett, TX)
