In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Union City Bears basketball team scored a good 45-30 triumph over the Girard Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 match, on Thursday, January 18.
