The Hankinson (ND) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home non-conference game against Langford (SD) by a score of 41-14.
The Langford Lions basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Hankinson Pirates to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waverly/South Shore for a B Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 18. Langford will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 46-10 non-league loss to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-10.
The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND). The Bison enter the B District 1 contest with a 0-1 record.
