Georgia High School Basketball - Hart County overwhelms Stephens County
January 16, 2024: Toccoa, GA 30577 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) and the host Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), saw Hart County's basketball squad wallop Stephens County by a tally of 59-31.
With the victory, Hart County improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Oconee County won 68-40 in their recent league challenge against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Stephens County will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Purple Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 72-9 league loss to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA).
