Spectators at Tuesday's league test between the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) and the visiting Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN), witnessed New Ulm Cathedral's basketball squad crush Loyola by a margin of 47-26.

The Greyhounds (8-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 2 test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, St. Mary's walloped Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 66-38, in a league test.

The Crusaders now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Martin County West for a A Section 2 test on Friday, January 19. Loyola will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 55-51 league win over Nicollet (Nicollet, MN). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-3.
