January 16, 2024: Middleville, MI 49333 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI), saw South Christian's basketball squad wallop Thornapple Kellogg by a count of 56-35.
With the victory, South Christian upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Bengals in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Ottawa Hills lost 36-31 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI)
Next up, the Trojans play the Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge, on Friday, January 19. Thornapple Kellogg will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
