January 16, 2024: Sahuarita, AZ 85629 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) and the visiting Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), saw Walden Grove's basketball squad hold off Amphitheater by a tally of 56-54.
With the victory, Walden Grove improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Red Wolves travel to Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Panthers play the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Amphitheater will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 67-36 league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ).
