January 16, 2024: Clinton Township, MI 48038 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the visiting Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), saw Chippewa Valley's basketball squad hold off Dakota by a tally of 24-21.
With the victory, Chippewa Valley improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Big Reds host Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Cougars play the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Dakota will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI).
