New Mexico High School Basketball - Highland holds off Del Norte
January 16, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), saw Highland's basketball squad hold off Del Norte by a tally of 60-56.
With the victory, Highland improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Knights confront the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Del Norte will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
