Virginia High School Basketball - Prince George crushes Surry County
January 16, 2024: Prince George, VA 23875 Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA), 55-20 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Prince George upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Hopewell (Hopewell, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Cougars play the Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Surry County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
