Missouri High School Basketball - King City overwhelms Albany
January 16, 2025: King City, MO 64463 The King City Wildkats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Albany Warriors to 23 in the Wildkats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildkats now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Harrison for a Grand River West game on Tuesday, January 21. King City will play a Shamrocks team coming off a 74-58 non-league loss to Gilman City (Gilman City, MO). The Shamrocks record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Albany falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Winston (Winston, MO) to play the Red Birds in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Red Birds go into the game with a record of 9-3. Winston won 45-20 in their recent non-league game against Pattonsburg (Pattonsburg, MO)
