The Brandon Academy Scorpions (Brandon, FL) basketball toppled the visiting Patel Trailblazers (Tampa, FL), 67-59 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Scorpions now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Ridgeview Global Studies Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Brandon Academy will play a Explorers team coming off a 53-21 non-league loss to Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL). The Explorers record now stands at 2-10.
