Alaska High School Basketball - Unalakleet overwhelms Brevig Mission
January 16, 2025: Unalakleet, AK 99684 The Unalakleet Wolfpack basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Brevig Mission Huskies to 35 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolfpack now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Shishmaref for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Unalakleet will confront a Northern Lights team coming off a 71-61 non-league win over Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK). The Northern Lights record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Brevig Mission falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK) to confront the Northern Lights in a 1A Bering Sea game on Saturday, January 18. The Northern Lights go into the game with a record of 4-2. Shishmaref won 71-61 in their recent non-league game against Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK)
