Washington High School Basketball - Columbia Adventist Academy can't hold off Willapa Valley
January 16, 2025: Menlo, WA 98561 Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks (Battle Ground, WA), 56-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Willapa Valley advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Vikings host Morton/White Pass (Morton, WA) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 4-11. Morton/White Pass lost 62-58 in their recent league match against Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA)
The Kodiaks now own a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington School for the Deaf for a 1B Columbia Valley match on Tuesday, January 21. Columbia Adventist Academy will face a Terriers squad coming off a 39-23 non-league loss to Rhode Island School for the Deaf (Providence, RI). The Terriers record now stands at 4-7.
