The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) and the host Fort Campbell Falcons (Fort Campbell, KY), observed Montgomery Central's basketball team overcome Fort Campbell by a margin of 59-43.

The Indians (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairview (Fairview, TN). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A District 11 challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Fairview dropped by KIPP Nashville Collegiate (Nashville, TN), 50-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors (Hopkinsville, KY) in a District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Fort Campbell will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 84-60 non-league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY).
