In Thursday's league contest, the host Milton Hershey Spartans basketball team scored a close 45-39 triumph over the Palmyra Cougars.

The Spartans (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Red Land (Lewisberry, PA). The Patriots go into the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Red Land was tipped by Manheim Central (Manheim, PA), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
