Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE), 56-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Minden advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Whippets travel to McCook (McCook, NE) to face the Bison in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Bison enter the match with a record of 9-3. McCook won 54-52 in their recent non-league match against Sidney (Sidney, NE)
