The New Albany Bulldogs nipped the visiting South Pontotoc Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 66-62 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 21. New Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record.

The Cougars (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Vikings enter the 4A Region 2 outing with a 7-15 record. In their last outing, North Pontotoc got by Byhalia (Byhalia, MS), 72-57, in a league outing.
