The Sneads Pirates defeated the visiting Ponce De Leon Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 45-29 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Cottondale Hornets (Cottondale, FL) in a Rural District 3 outing, on Friday, January 17. Sneads will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Hornets come into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 69-63 non-league loss to Chipley (Chipley, FL).
